GET INVOLVED
IN GOVERNMENT :
Wilton’s government is made up almost exclusively of volunteers just like you and I, with only the Fist Selectman being a paid elected official. With over 150 positions to fill, what that means is that our Town needs people who care about our community, care about their neighbors and care about the legacy that we will leave for our children. What that means is WE NEED YOU!

The Wilton Republican Town Committee is looking for Republican and Unaffiliated/Independent townspeople whom want to share in the shaping of our community today, and in the future. While not normally a big time commitment, the positions are a big responsibility. If you want to help and are willing to give of yourself to maintain the quality and character of Wilton Life, please check out the various Boards and Commissions below. If you find something that you feel you want to be a part of, check off! OFFER A HAND
While donating your time to Town service is often times just too cumber some when busy with the daily trials of career and family, the Wilton RTC would love to call on you from time to time when needs arise. Mostly asked to Offer A Hand during election season and during high public involvement time, these calls to duty are not all that time consuming nor do they occur often Requests like writing a letter to the editor, manning a phone bank to help with the Get out the vote effort, put up a lawn sign, etc.are the myriad, small, but necessary tasks we at the WRTC need to perform to ensure proper government and a smooth democratic process.

If you would like to help in some way, this is an excellent opportunity to help maintain the quality and character of our Town. Please check off those items you feel you would like to help with, then submit you name, email address and phone number. Include any comment you think we should know, such as if you willing to put up a lawn sign and you live at a high traffic intersection, and click the submit button. On of our member will contact you to answer any questions you may have and help you get started.
